Professor Edin Begić, MD, MA, PhD (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a cardiologist who primarily specializes in cardiovascular imaging. His scientific work focuses on cardiovascular pharmacology, pro- and anticoagulation mechanisms in the body, and the effects of external agents on the endothelium. He represents his country in the EACVI and EAPCI. He is the editor of three journals and the author or co-author of numerous scientific papers and books.
